during November 2018 I had cataracts removed by Mr Sundaram at the Spire Hospital. The whole process was explained to me and operations carried out very professionally and with great care . Mr Sundaram is an extremely likable and professional person. He listens to what you have to say and explains how "things" will go, plus some "do's and dont's". My cataract operation was quick, painless and comfortable.....Mr Venkaram did a great job!

I SAW DR SUNDARAM ABOUT MY RIGHT CATARACT WHICH HAD DEVELOPED SUDDENLY OVER A COUPLE OF WEEKS AS IT HAD IMPAIRED MY VISION TOTALLY. HE SAW ME PROMPTLY AND MANAGED TO DO THE PROCEDURE THE FOLLOWING WEEK FOR ME . IT GAVE ME MY SIGHT BACK AGAIN TO NORMAL WITHIN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. AFTER A COUPLE OF MONTHS I DECIDED TO SEE HIM AGAIN FOR THE SAME PROCEDURE FOR THE OTHER EYE. AGAIN HE WAS ABLE TO DO THE OPERATION PROMPTLY THE FOLLOWING WEEK. I CAN TOTALLY RECOMEND DR SUNDARAM IF YOU NEED EYE SURGERY, HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE TIME.

I had cataracts removed in both my eyes within a month of each other by Mr Venki Sundaram. I have been wearing glasses and later contact lenses since the age of 10 but within 3-5 hours of the operation, I had 90% perfect vision which improved to 100% during the following 3 -5 days. It was a near miracle to be able to be able to see so well with my naked eye after 53 years of extreme shortsightedness! A huge thank you to Mr Sundaram for giving me the gift of sight. His exceedingly friendly, professional and caring manner will make any patient feel completely at ease. The op was carried out with utmost skill and with no discomfort whatever. I would strongly recomment Mr Sundaram to anyone who is considering cataract removal. MF November 2018
